NIA - National Insulation Association

Since 1953, the northern Virginia–based association has been the voice of the insulation industry and is dedicated to keeping the commercial and industrial insulation industry up to date on the latest industry trends and technologies.

NIA holds two major events each year, the annual convention in the spring and Committee Days, a meetings-oriented event, which occurs in the fall in the DC/Virginia area.

NIA also has a Foundation for Education, Training and Industry Advancement, which funds many high-quality programs geared toward increasing awareness of the many benefits of insulation. The Foundation has developed training programs, market surveys, the Mechanical Insulation Marketing Initiative, and many other industry enriching programs.

NIA is constantly involved with a variety of activities, from the production of the outstanding technical resource Insulation Outlook magazine to the development of high quality industry products to committee-driven projects.
